The rates listed on this website are effective 1 April – 31 March 2009.
Government Tax of 12.5% is included in all rates.

All rates include complimentary daily tropical breakfast.

A deposit is required to secure all direct bookings.

Refunds are available subject to the cancellation policies listed below.

A 3 night minimum stay is applicable on all Beachfront Studios, 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom suites.

All rooms are non smoking.

Airport transfers are not included in our room rates. We offer a Meet and Greet service with Traditional Ei greeting and transfer to and from Sunset Resort for international flights, by arrangement at a cost of $15/per person one way.

Our Transfer service is mandatory for all guests arriving between the hours of 8.00pm and 9.00am in order to complete correct check in procedures.

All rates quoted are in NZ dollars, which is the official currency of the Cook Islands.

We reserve the right to accept or refuse any booking.
Cancellation Policy
- Within 15-30 days - payment of 1 night accommodation.
- Within 14 days - payment of 2 nights accommodation.
- Within 7 days or less – payment of full stay unless we are able to resell accommodation,
then we will only charge cancellation fees for the nights remaining unsold.
No show or failure to cancel - payment of full stay unless we are able to resell accommodation, then we will only charge cancellation fees for the nights remaining unsold .
No refunds will be issued for flight delays or other circumstances beyond the control of the Sunset Resort. We recommend you purchase travel insurance that will cover you for this type of circumstance.
Arrival & Departures
Standard Check-In time: 12.00noon
Standard Check-Out time: 10.00am
Early Check-In: from 6.00am (subject to availability)
Late Check-Out: to 6.00pm (subject to availability)
A fee of 50% of the room rate applies.
